Ear tunnels, sometimes known as flesh tunnel ear piercings are a form of body modification that involves stretching the ear lobes wider than a traditional ear piercing. Then decorative jewelry called plugs and tunnels are placed in the gap.

Usually starting at a size 16 or 14 gauge, ears are stretched via a specially developed taper that is inserted into the healed ear piercing. About six weeks after each stretch, it is safe to stretch again. Stretching the ears slowly and in a clean environment is the best way to ensure the health of the lobes, avoid taring and unnecessary pain.  Ear stretching has surged in popularity in recent years.

What is the smallest Size Ear Tunnels

The smallest size we sell of tunnels is 3mm. You can find plugs in smaller sizes (from 1.6mm) but since tunnels are more suitable for larger stretched ears you won't find them in the smallest sizes.

What materials are Ear Tunnels made of?

Tunnels for ears can be made from any number of materials. Most common are silicone, acrylic, wood, glass, metal and to a lesser extent stone.

What are tunnels for ears?

Tunnels for ears are hollow, tube shaped pieces of body jewelry for inserting into stretched ears. Tunnels are basically like plugs with holes in them.

How do I put tunnels in my ears?

Firstly ensure you're using the correct size tunnel for your ear. The best time to insert tunnels is after a shower. You should lubricate your ears with a small amount of Jojoba Oil. Tunnels are best inserted at an angle with one edge first. Some people call this the button method, as it can be similar to pushing a button into a button hole.

Can you use Silicone tunnels to stretch your ears?

It is not advised to use silicone tunnels to stretch your ears. You should not try to jump sizes by inserting a larger tunnel. Instead use an insertion pin/ taper to increase your size before inserting the tunnel.
