Ear Stretching Kits & Tapers
Ear stretching is s type of body modification with the goal of having stretched earlobe holes thicker than traditional ear piercings. Stretching ears to insert jewelry referred to as plugs or gauges requires special ear stretching equipment.
Usually, ears are stretched using a tool called a taper, which is wider on one end and gradually narrows. Using different-sized tapers, plugs, and other ear gauges, the ears can be stretched to the desired size you want.
Ear Stretching Equipment for Sale
We sell a range of ear stretching equipment, including ear stretching kits and gauge stretching kits. Everything you need for any ear stretching sizes you want.
Whether you want an ear stretching kit that is suitable for achieving small stretched ears, or you want to go for bigger plugs including 10mm stretched ears, 0g stretched ears and 2g stretched ears, we have everything you need to do this safely. It’s important you treat stretched lobes with care and go slowly so that you don’t tear them.
If you are unsure if you are ready to stretch your ears, also available in our shop are fake gauges and fake plugs, for the person who’s interested in ear stretching but isn’t ready for the commitment! We offer a variety of custom-made types and styles in each size.
What is ear stretching?
A time-tested human tradition, ear stretching is a popular form of body modification across the world that actually dates back to around 3300 BCE!
Using an ear stretching kit (sometimes known as a gauge stretching kit) is a relatively new practice. Either way, the ears are gradually stretched from the size of a standard piercing until the desired size and look is achieved. Then you can wear a wide range of plugs for your stretched lobes!
When done slowly and in a clean environment with good aftercare, ear stretching is completely safe.
How long does ear stretching take?
It depends! The lobes of your ears are delicate and require care when stretching to keep them healthy. We recommend waiting at least six weeks between each stretch. It can take several stretches to get to the desired gauge. Not waiting the full six weeks between stretches can result in “blowouts,” or a tear to the skin of the lobes. For this reason, it is very important that you stretch your ears gradually.
That said, every body is different and if you feel your ears haven’t completely healed yet, you should wait slightly longer.
Does ear stretching hurt?
Although you may experience discomfort when stretching your ears you should experience minimal pain because it’s done gradually over time. This is one of the other reasons we suggest waiting a decent amount of time between each stretch because it will decrease your pain and discomfort.
