Silicone Tunnels

If you’re looking for comfortable body modification jewellery, then silicone tunnels for your ears are a great option!

Silicone tunnels are a popular pick for people with active lifestyles because they’re lightweight and flexible. Our range of silicone gauges fits well for any size of stretched ears, is super comfortable, and can be worn overnight too.

The Silicone Tunnels Collection

Silicone ear tunnels are different from your usual metal, stone, and glass options because unlike them, silicone gauges are super soft and very light.

But this also means you can do a lot with the design and we’ve had some real fun creating our huge range of various shapes, sizes, colours, and designs! From our block colour triangle and square shapes, to our moustache circular design plugs there’s something for everyone.

What sizes do our silicone tunnels come in?

We stock all common silicone ear gauges including; 6g, 14g, 12g, 10g, 8g, 6g, 4g, 2g, 1g, 0g, 00g, 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8", 1", 28mm, 29mm, 30mm, 32mm, 34mm, 36mm, 38mm, 40mm, 42mm, 44mm, 46mm, 47mm, 48mm, 50mm, 0 gauge plugs, and 2 gauge plugs.

So, no matter which size you’re aiming for (or are at right now!) you can find the best silicone ear gauges for you. To make it easier, every size we stock are listed in both metric size and g sizes, or as metric size and inch size, so there’s no risk of choosing the wrong size in our store.

Confused about sizes and not sure which one you should buy? You can also find our ear stretching sizes chart where you can check the wearable depth for silicone gauges, from smaller to largest sizes.

What colours do our silicone tunnels come in?

Silicone is a colour-friendly material so you’ll find silicone tunnels in every possible colour with a lot of in betweens! From conservative options like black and white, to more playful tones like purple, blue, and gold, to “can’t miss it” colours that pop like hot pink, pearl, light blue, and mint green colours!.

What flare do our silicone tunnels come in?

When choosing your silicone tunnels, you can choose between double flare and flat flare silicone ear gauges. Which one you choose is entirely up to you and your preference although most of our range is double flared for comfort, but we’re adding more and more flat flare silicone ear tunnels to the range soon.

What shapes do our silicone tunnels come in?

Silicone has one of the largest variety of shapes due to it being so soft and flexible, so unusual shapes won’t be a problem for your ears and they create cool effects that people don’t expect.

Choose between super thin silicone ear tunnels that keep your piercing in shape, or try out some of our more unusual options, like the triangle or square shaped silicone tunnels, or go for the popular teardrop shape instead.

Caring for silicone tunnels

While they can be worn for sports and overnight, make sure you don’t wear your silicone tunnels all the time without regular cleaning because silicone tends to attract dust and pollen much more than other materials.

This is also the reason to avoid wearing them on healing ears or when you’re stretching, because silicone is porous which leaves room for infection. Stretched ears need materials like glass or surgical steel that won’t breed bacteria.

How do you remove silicone tunnels?

To remove a silicone tunnel just pinch the tunnel with your fingers and pull it out. Most silicone tunnels just slide out without much force!

How do you install silicone tunnels?

Silicone is a very flexible material and many people will find them easy to insert compared to other materials. Start by putting some jojoba oil on your ear lobe and on the plug or tunnel. Use a taper to stretch your lobe and push it though until it gets to the end. Then press the plug or tunnel towards the earlobe until it replaces the taper.

What size gauge can you not go back from?

Ear stretching can be reversible but the size at which it becomes irreversible will be different for different people. Many piercers will say that stretching to 6mm (2g) to 8mm (0g) is reversible but there is always a chance they won't stretch back down fully.

Can you sleep in silicone tunnels?

Silicone tunnels are great to wear for sleeping as they are soft, flexible and comfortable.

Can I leave my gauges out overnight?

You can usually leave your gauges out at night when you have size 2g or larger. However, if you're wearing something comfortable you can sleep in them.
