What size are 10 gauge stretched ears?

The larger the size of your stretched ears, the smaller the gauge number. When you run out of gauge numbers you start using solely mm and Inches.

Are 10 gauge plugs safe to use?

10 gauge plugs are safe to use. Please be advised they are only safe when you follow the correct stretching techniques and that you maintain your stretching jewellery to be hygienic. The correct stretching techniques can be found in our ear stretching guide.

What is the size of 10 gauge ear plugs?

The size of a 10g ear stretch is the same as 2.5mm plugs. If you are still unsure you can find more information in our ear plug size conversion guide.

How long does it take to stretch your ears to a 10 gauge ear?

As everyone's ears are different, It can be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. Generally, the larger the size of your plug the longer it will take to stretch safely. We recommend only increasing your ear jewellery by one size (2 gauge) at a time and at least waiting 6 to 8 weeks before increasing. You should always wait for inflammation and pain to subside.

Do you have to stretch your ears to wear 2.5mm plugs?

Yes. All plugs are a type of ear stretching jewellery inserted into the hole in your earlobe that is left over from stretching.
