Silicone Plugs

Silicone Plugs, Tunnels, and Gauges

Silicone plugs, tunnels, and gauges are a comfortable option for those with stretched ears and a material choice that is perfect for day to day wearing!

This material is most common for people with active lifestyles that swim, or do sports regularly because silicone tunnels don’t degrade as much as metals or other materials do if they’re worn constantly. Plus, as they are lightweight they don’t tend to pull on the ears during activity and can be really comfortable for wearing at night.

Our selection of silicone plugs, tunnels, and gauges for Ears

We stock a huge selection of silicone gauges and plugs in all shapes, sizes, and colours! Choose between super thin silicone tunnels that just focus on keeping your piercing in shape, to full plugs in a variety of patterns that you can show off!

The one thing to note with silicone plugs, ears should be almost entirely healed before you can start wearing them because they can promote bacteria growth during the healing process. Silicone plugs are completely fine for fully healed stretches but we don’t recommend whilst you’re stretching your ears.

How to put in silicone plugs & tunnels

Silicone is a very flexible material and many people will find them easy to insert compared to other materials. Start by putting some jojoba oil on your ear lobe and on the plug or tunnel. Use a taper to stretch your lobe and push it though until it gets to the end. Then press the plug or tunnel towards the earlobe until it replaces the taper
